HYBRID TECHNIQUE

Simultaneous Use of Channel Opening and DHI Method in Hair Transplant

The simultaneous use of FUE (FUE method) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) methods in hair transplantation, i.e. Hybrid Technique, allows hair transplantation to be performed both efficiently and effectively. This combination combines the advantages of both techniques and provides more successful and natural results.

What is the Channel Opening Method (FUE)?

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) method is based on the principle of taking hair follicles one by one from the donor area and transplanting them to the recipient area. In this method:

Hair follicles are taken one by one from the donor area using micro motor or manual punch tools.
Canals are opened in the recipient area beforehand. These channels are small holes where hair follicles will be placed.
Hair follicles are carefully placed in these channels.

What is DHI Method?

DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) method allows the hair follicles to be implanted directly into the recipient area using a special implanter pen (Choi pen). In this method:

After the hair follicles are taken from the donor area, they are placed in the implanter pen.
The implanter pen directly implants the hair follicles into the recipient area and ensures that the follicles are placed in accordance with the natural growth direction.

Simultaneous Use of Root Canal and DHI Method

The combination of these two methods, the Hybrid Technique, provides more flexibility and precision in hair transplantation. The procedure is performed as follows:

Preparation:

The area to be transplanted is cleaned and disinfected with antiseptic solutions. The area is prepared for the removal of hair follicles from the donor area.

Removal of Hair Roots from the Donor Area:

Hair follicles are taken one by one from the donor area using micro motor or manual punch tools as in the FUE method.

Channel Opening:

Canals are opened in the recipient area. These channels are small holes where hair follicles will be placed. The canal opening process is performed in accordance with the natural angle and direction of the hair follicles.

Transplantation of Hair Roots (with DHI Method):

The hair follicles are placed in a special implanter pen (Choi pen). This implanter pen transplants the hair follicles directly into the recipient area and ensures that the follicles are placed in accordance with the natural growth direction.

Advantages of the Combination:

Natural Appearance and Density: The channels opened with the canalisation method allow the hair follicles to be placed at natural angles. Transplantation with the DHI method ensures that the hair follicles are transplanted in the direction of natural growth and a dense appearance is obtained.

More Control and Precision: The canalisation process predetermines the area where the hair follicles will be placed. The DHI method makes it possible to transplant hair follicles in a more precise and controlled manner.

Fast Recovery: The fact that both methods are minimally invasive ensures that the healing process is fast and comfortable.

Result

The simultaneous use of FUE and DHI methods, i.e. Hybrid Technique, increases the flexibility and effectiveness of the hair transplantation procedure. This combination offers superior results both aesthetically and functionally. This approach combines the best aspects of modern hair transplantation techniques, allowing hair transplant recipients to achieve natural and dense hair.
